Mindfulness helps you develop the ability to be calm, even at stressful times, and to be more aware of what’s happening now rather than getting lost in your thoughts. When we are mindful, we are paying regular, calm attention to the present moment.
This taster session will help you to understand more about mindfulness and give you an opportunity to practice a number of different mindfulness meditations, using a focus on paintings to help with this process. It’s a chance to try out the wellbeing benefits of mindfulness for yourself and to be more mindful about art!
